Social Inclusion

This vibrant space is a hub of social inclusion and sustainability, offering a welcoming atmosphere where guests from around the globe can connect. The hostel extends occupational opportunities to migrants and refugees in Athens, embodying a spirit of community empowerment. Its decor, an ode to sustainable living, features charming second-hand furnishings and supports local, ethical businesses.

City Hostel

Located in the heart of Athens, just a stone’s throw away from the nearest metro station and a short drive from the iconic Acropolis, the hostel is the perfect base for your trip. Immerse yourself in the lively neighborhood, brimming with amenities such as supermarkets, quaint coffee shops, bustling bars, convenient ATMs, and all transportation means.

Our Facilities

Impact House Athens offers 6 rooms, 5 shared rooms and 1 double private room, with capacity for 32 people. The rooms are non-smoking, equipped with AC, individual lockers, lights and plugs, and offer ben linen. There are plenty of common areas such as a shared living room, a fully equipped shared kitchen, a small terrace on the ground floor and a huge rooftop to meet all the other guests. The bathrooms are shared and are equipped with a hairdryer. There is free Wi-Fi in every room.

Conceptual Decoration

The hostel decoration reflects our concept: The Mix of cultures, the Guests Exchange and a Learning spirit The furniture of the rooms is mostly second-hand, mainly from the refugees' origins but respecting the color of the room's theme for harmony.

Raising Awareness

We aim to raise awareness to the importance of diversity and inclusion. Every guest is invited to take a deep dive into the concept of integration and to open their mind to their role to make that possible.

Promoting Responsible Travel

We incentivize slow travel to minimize tourism environmental impact we offer tips on how to do it.

Social Shop

Our shop offers products made by refugees.

Exchange

We have a Swap Spot, where you can swap clothes, a Book Exchange, so you can always have a new book at hand, and a game library so you can connect with the other guests. Everything for free! Look out for Game Thursday’s!
