Impact Mums Veggie Recipe, Seitanballs

Ingredients:

  • Seitan 500g
  • Salt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Soy sauce
  • Oat flakes (+/- 1 tea cup)
  • Peanuts
  • Parsley
  • Tomato pulp
  • 2 onions

 

Preparation:


First, season the seitan with salt, garlic, bay leaf and soy sauce and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Second, take the seitan, already seasoned, to the oven with some olive oil on top. The seitan should be in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Third, after removing the seitan from the oven, place it in a container, where you can mix it with oat flakes, peanuts and salsa.
Then, grind those ingredients in thermomix or something similar and after use your hands to mold the crushed seitan into balls (shape of meatballs).
Fourth, make a sauté with garlic, together with the onions cutted in half and the tomato pulp and sauté everything until the onion is golden.

Then, blend that mix to obtain the consistency of a sauce

Drizzle the seitanballs with the sauce.

Ready to serve!
