At our backyard stays an Eco dive school, our partner "in crime" for keeping the Ocean Clean at Cascais bay and all our guests and volunteers are welcomed to learn how to dive and be a Marine Conservation Hero.

Circular Economy & Ocean Conservation
Impact Beach House is a hostel committed with OC and CE, which offers dormitories and private double rooms, all of which with free WiFi and access to private / shared bathroom facilities. The communal facilities include a spacious dining area, a cosy lounge area, a beautiful garden and a big outdoor space, we also have a room for workshops and practices like yoga and meditation.
Impact Beach House is located 450m from the Beach, Praia da Poça, less then 5min walk, and its the perfect choice for concious travellers interested in surf, yoga, circular economy, ocean conservation and eco activities and workshops.
World Cusine Food
Our Impact cooks spoil guests with "world cusine" delicious food made with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
A continental breakfast is served daily and is free to all guests.
Homemade lunch is served from 1 to 3pm and dinner from 7 to 9pm - our weekly set menu serves a vegetable soup, a meat/ fish or a vegetarian main course, a salad and seasonal fruit or desert.

Why are we sustainable?
Recycling and Upcycling
We separate all our garbage to ensure that most of it can be recycled. We even like to upcycle our trash and find new use for it! If you have ideas to give a second life to our waste, let us know!
Food Waste and Composting
We hate seeing good food go to waste! All our leftover food is donated to people in need while our lovely worms turn fruit and veggie scraps into nutritious fertilizer for our garden!
CO2 footprint
Our energy comes from renewable sources, we try to minimize its consumption. We compensate 100% of our CO2-emissions and we have a plan to achieve Carbon neutrality in 2030.
Vegetable Garden
We plant our own vegetable and herbs, like lettuce, parsley or lavender and use them for our delicious home-cooked meals!
Social and Sustainable Shop
In our Social and Sustainable Shop, we sell lots of great little products, arts and crafts from our many social partners! Find your perfect and unique souvenir of Portugal and support a local cause!
Ecologic Cleaning Products
We use ecological and fully biodegradable cleaning products to keep our Hostel and kitchen clean and comfortable!
Sustainable Supply Chain
We give preference, in our sustainable procurement policy to non-profit and local suppliers and we relentless pursuit improvements in our supply chain.
